Congrats, Mic!

While this has certainly gotten off the topic, it's an interesting discussion (Beans, don't kill me, I really mean 'interesting' here). My preference would be to have a few miles on whatever new bike I choose to buy. Not my problem so far since I have always bought used bikes. But I really don't care if the odometer says 'zero'.

@crazy144 can show you what that bike will look like in a few short years if it's ridden gently and proper maintenance is performed.

Yo Mic! Still enjoying the cb500x? Still happy with it or you wanting to go bigger?

Not trying to hijack this thread, but I have a CB500x too. My first bike. I love it after 8k miles. But I also want something bigger (engine) and smaller (looks).

Very conflicted about what's next. Leaning toward z900 after researching seemingly every bike made and going to a couple demo days. But if money and reliability were no objects, I'd get a 2016 Hyperstrada (the only one with the 939 engine) or the new Street Triple S or R.

I'm really liking the new cb500 motorcycles that are out now but am thinking history will just repeat itself with me if I got one. 30yrs ago I had a '75 gold cb550 that was a lot of fun to ride around town but I had to get a cb750 shortly after because back then I did a lot of travelling on the highway between states. I know its got to be a super fun bike!!

street triples! check out the used ones. A buddy had one and absolutely loved it until he got 'duked' and went orange LOL

can't go wrong w team green too

On a Duc (or at least some Duc's 1098's for sure) you could just unplug the wheel speed sensor... It just thinks its revving sitting still...
