Hmm, undrinkable water forever and widespread environmental degradation, or being able to carry on commmerce as usual in any condition? Leave it to capitalists to make the right choice.

Got to blame capitalists for everything, all while using smart phones, computers, tv's, cars, motorcycles, etc brought to you by...wait for it...capitalists. Hypocrisy at its finest.

Capitalism had its day in solving some human problems. Now it is more responsible for destruction than good. I would gladly give up a freakin smartphone for a livable planet.

So why are you still riding a capitalist provided motorcycle? You could ride one of those amazing socialist made Urals.

And if you would gladly "give up a freakin smartphone", why don't you? And your computer, and your TV and your car, and probably your capitalist provided job? Are you being forced to keep any of those things? Or is it because, in reality, you enjoy all the comforts and benefits that capitalism provides? Heck, I hear Venezuela is amazing this time of year.

Go take a few courses about the different economic models so you'll understand what you've termed Capitalism is a centrally planned economy.

Back to the OP, it was fairly dry and 43 today, left work early so I could take my latest project 2007 Suzuki Bandit 1250 for a good test flog. Roads in places were so smeared with de-icer I would have much preferred just rain, but I sorted out the short list of things to fix as we now move solidly toward a winter break.

All this in Moses Lake, Central, WA

With both bikes needing something from a broken tail light to valve shimming and rebuilding the forks, I've not ridden for a while...

Saw some ice on the road this morning, chickened out and drove instead.

32 degrees when I left for work this morning. Roads in my neighborhood were covered with frost. Rode gingerly until I got on the main, dry roads.
