mine's currently a hybrid bio-gas. it starts by adenosine triphosphate mediated through mitochondrial oxy-carbon reactors using the "Krebs Cycle" system of the right support/motor extension and then runs on 92 octane and air.

I remember 10-15 years ago when all the buzz was about the US national debt. Economists all agree that this debt is a time bomb that will have devastating consequences. After 15 years and no solution we've just moved on to the next possible catastrophe of climate change.
I find it odd that no one wants to talk about the looming water crisis in CA and the midwest where the underground aquifers are being depleted for agricultural use. If/when those go dry, we are going to have a serious problem to deal with. (Lake Meads level just makes that worse)

Itís an 8 kW system. Our roof has a pretty good orientation and the annual solar production is a little over 8 megawatts.

The range of greenhouse gas emissions caused by animal agriculture is from 20% to as high as 50%. The higher figure is based on the lifetime loss from things like burning down the rainforests and desertification.

I agree with the higher estimate. It is like only counting the loss of a disabled worker for the year they are declared disabled and not the entire lifetime of work they could have contributed to the family (planet) wellbeing.

The single most effective thing we can do to save our planet besides not having more children is to stop eating animal products. And it doesn’t require anyone but yourself to do it.

I think it's an excellent idea. Police will be in electric vehicles so pulling over an unregistered liter bike will prove to be a little tricky for them.

The Fossil Fuel Force is strong within the cowardly legislators.

It is only the little people who will force them to change allegiance to the people of the planet rather than soulless corporatists filling their pockets.

Keep enlightening others. We are breaking through.

Not to mention the damaged caused by "fracking". Hundreds of earthquakes in Oklahoma? Whoda thunk it? Massive international oil pipelines that spring leaks on a regular basis? Whoda thunk it? Nothin but bad news and bad policy abounds.

The only people who are concerned about, and doing something about, global warming are in first world countries with stable or declining populations. Meanwhile, people in Africa, the middle east, and parts of Asia are just worrying about getting enough to eat and not getting killed in a war. And these populations are exploding and filtering into the first world nations. As long as world population continues to increase it doesn't matter if some of us cut our carbon contributions in half if there are twice as many people.

The only real solution is fewer people, and that could be accomplished in just a couple of generations if people didn't have kids, but that doesn't seem to be on the radar with third world countries.

You are simplifying. Third world countries are actually on the forefront of pushing for worldwide action because they are the most affected.

If you read the section in Drawdown about empowering women politically so they can take control of their fertility and also providing micro renewable energy systems to developing nations, you will see there are great solutions that could turn everything around quickly.

What we need is the developed nations like us to lead the world as we are most responsible for our situation and we have the most political and economic power to influence events.

Little people? You mean the low income people that can not afford one of the expensive electric muses? Oh wait! Maybe they can afford one of the cast offs, with its upcoming battery replacement that is getting less milage than before, that the more well off have replaced with their newer ‘feel good, I am saving the planet’ vehicle.
The power to charge these comes from somewhere. The waste from used up batteries (power supply) goes to somewhere, as well as all the other components that are the same as their ICE counterpart.
Electrics are not ‘Gods answer’ to all the ills of the universe.
Electrics are ‘neat’, and while I like them as well as any of the other systems, don’t kid yourself about how ‘wonderful’ they are. Follow the money and it will be the same money folks leading everyone around by their noses.
Rant over.
