Speaking of shredding canyons, he almost shredded his face on those rock outcroppings a few times. I'm impressed :P

I think if he were the sort of dude to care about things like his skin, bones, or facial integrity, he probably wouldn't be riding that particular bike like that.

OR maybe he's just so goddamn good he can ride anything anywhere anytime and be safe as houses! Who can say?

I remember seeing a video of some guy riding Deals Gap on a gigantic yellow GL1800, scraping luggage in the turns pretty hard. Made the whole run in like 10 mins or something crazy.

Yes, that is a Harley rider that is very skilled in the twisties.
No...I never want to ride with him, EVER.

I don't consider him all that skilled. Lucky as hell to get away with the myriad of bad lines, braking mistakes, and abysmal use of body position, yes, but not skilled.

IMHO, if he was as good as he seems to think he is, he wouldn't ride like that.

Once upon a time in the 80's I ended up owning a sportster through a convoluted exercise in helping out a couple of friends. After I got it running, I took it out a few times. One day I thought I'd see how it would do in some Twisties. At least mine didn't have ape hangers on it, but it did feel like the frame had a hinge in the middle of it. Turn in was non existent. It felt like riding a horse that didn't want to turn no matter how far you pulled his head around. About 3 turns in I gave up and just rode sedately (liking my body in one piece) back home. I probably looked a little like this guy. I sold the sportster a very short time later and continued my affair with my FZR 1000.

Allright!!! We have the next contestant for
"I am going to horse this overweight pig of a motorcycle through the twisties and try to hold good lines through it all!"

Just makes it all the more impressive, or ridiculous...

This is not this guy's first ride through this road, as a matter of fact he is quite well known there. And this is his second Dyna. He used to have a Street Bob, but got this Low Rider not long ago.
