Goldwing and/or Moto Guzzi riders

I was just sitting here thinking that my two bikes are not the most common on this site. I have a '06 Moto Guzzi & '12 Goldwing. I'd like to know who else is riding a Guzzi and/or a Goldwing.

Got an '07 Norge in the fleet now, and gave owned a '76 GL 1000 and '84 Aspencade. Between the undersized clutches and tall gearing that '76 was a lesson in humility.

I have a 2010 GL1800 that I bought new in 2011. I have over 80K on it now and would have more than that had I not put over 20K on my other bikes during the time that I have owned it. I have two trailers that I pull with it on occasion. One is a camper and one just for cargo. I took it on a 5250 mile ride last year and it was wonderful. I have a daughter that is moving to Charlotte NC so maybe this summer that will give me an excuse to go for another long ride. Not that I really need one!

You got that right!

Doctors grounded me from riding the first part of July until spring. I've been glued to the weather forecasts. Soon, very soon....

I've got a HF trailer that works great for us. This picture was on one of our trips to the Wet side....

Good looking outfit for sure. My smaller trailer is a Holsclaw and is very similar in size to yours. It weighs but 200 lbs and I bet that I dont ever put more than 50 lbs in it. Sure is nice on longer trips. I have a Veskimo that I put on the back seat (that thing is SO nice in really hot weather!) so I just bring the trailer for the longer rides now. May as well. It's just too handy to leave behind.

We pulled ours on our trip around the Olympic peninsula. Didn't know it was there most of the time. A couple of times the trailer would jump a curb because I forgot it was there. Very handy when more storage is needed. If I had the money I'd like to get a camp trailer.

I paid $1500 for mine (used of course) and have used it twice. Wife likes to pull it behind her Honda CRV when on Girl Scout camp outs. But not too sure how much longer I am going to keep it. It takes up room on my storage shed and only gets used 2-3 times a year. Might be selling it.

Well I went out today and got the big girl going. Pulled the cover, checked fluids and tire pressure. If it gets above freezing tomorrow, I'm going for a ride. Probably just to meet the wife for lunch.

Well good for you. I hope that it will be a good ride.

I took my GW out twice last week when it got up to around 50 degrees. Man, that was nice to be riding in January in Idaho. And tomorrow is Feb 1 so that means just a few weeks until March. And March is Springtime!!
