Geeeze but it's hot.

Supposed to hit 108-109 degrees today here where I live. Dang hot. Went to the store a little bit ago and watched the ambient temp gauge on my bike climb to 105 in just 3 miles. Wow. No fun to ride in those temps.

In a little while I will soak my cool vest on the sink for a bit and after it gets good and saturated will try it again but this time go a bit further.

If I was going for a long enough ride I would put on my Veskimo but really, why wear out the rubber when it's this hot out? Stay home and wait for cooler days. They will be here soon enough. Wish they would hurry.

It's hot here, too. Over 100 for more days than I can remember.
Early mornings are the time to ride. When I ride my bicycles, I finish the ride before it gets over 75 or so. On the motorcycle, the temps aren't quite as bad, but I really don't enjoy riding when it's over 95.

The forecast shows high 90's and 100's until Aug. 24th..... wow.
