Fuuuuuckk

I'm actually standing on 6th Ave in Tacoma waiting for the tow truck. Big honk of shit came off a car and took out my new Angel GT.

Still don't know what it is. It's in there good.

The joy of motorcycles.

So does the AMA, for about $40/year, for every vehicle you own. Just sayin...

Yup, used mine today.

AAANNNDD! @Sentinel I had the same type of impalement in my Volvo two weeks ago. Took two Les Schwab guys to yank it out.

Used my AMA tow for my Volvo as well.

OK, so get this.

Still awaiting tow truck. Maybe 90 more minutes, they say.

I walked a block away to Sonic Burger on 6th Ave and got a cheeseburger. Fucking YUCK, but hey, seriously, it's food.

Then I went to Cutters Point and the lady sold me a latte.

Then I walked the block back to my bike, still there, and sat on a grassy knoll and had dinner.

The sun's out, and it aint dark (yet) or raining.

I found out my insurance company is going to cover the whole thing, from here to my house in Port Orchard.

So I am going to have to buy a new tire and get it mounted.

But check this out - I was l ike, "Oh damn. I have to pee." And I looked over near where I parked and there's an electrical substation and a port-a-pottie at the gate. It was clean and even had hand sanitizer.

THEN I thought, I'll get out my laptop and write a note about my adventure or something. And when I opened my laptop I found there is kick-ass wi-fi right here (on the corner of 6th and Huson) and it's fucking unlocked!

I happened to be on my way to Bluebeard Coffee on 6th, so I have my MacBook.

I was going to sit and have a coffee and do some Internetting - and that's what I'm doing.

It's like the gods are taking care of me better than a Trump Hotel concierge.

I mean, it would have been better if I didn't hit that chunk of whateverthefuck, but if you have to break down, and if you have to sit and wait for a tow, THIS is how you want it to happen.

I put on my under-layer (starting to get cold) and my neck gator so I'm warm.

And I'm sitting on the street corner posting shit on the Web from my computer.

Fucking weird the way the Universe works sometimes.

I think it was bigger than that, and what you see is the chunk that broke off. No way to patch that. A hamster would fit through that hole. It made my bike jump when I ran over it. I totally didn't even really see it coming. I can't get it out with my fingers. And damn, it's hard to roll that bike around with a total flat.

There it is.

Front wheel musta stood it up and rear tire hit it right on the end. It was hard as fek to get out. The clamp was inside the tire.
