How did you like the school?

San Antonio is my home, not too far from San Marcos.....thank you very much for posting a pic with all the blue bonnets in it!!!
I LOVED the school! Of course Kevin was there the whole time and his mom and dad provided the water and snacks between sessions and lunch both days. His uncle maintained the bikes and Kevin's GORGEOUS girl friend Marnie handled administrative duties.

At one point I missed a tight corner and went into the weeds. After I got it under control I looked up and Kevin was sitting on his bike on a hill and just shook his head as if to say, you fvcked up dude!

Everyone in the class was very friendly and we had a great time. I got the privilege of meeting Britney Morrow of "Rock The Gear" fame (https://rockthegear.wordpress.com/20...-am-my-helmet/). You may or not remember Britney's harrowing true tale of her being blown off the back of a sport bike at an extremely high speed in 2005. It severely scarred her for the rest of her life, which she showed us in the class. I can tell you that she is a very positive person who, when I met her, worked as a MSF instructor at the Navy base in San Diego.

I also met PJ at Home - Sportbikes4Hire. He arranged the entire class with Kevin and also got VIP tickets to the 2013 COTA MotoGP, which got us into the garage of Stefan Bradl during qualifying. THAT was WAY cool.

No pics, but late 80's down in San Diego on 1987 Yamaha FZR 1000. Mt. Palomar in Levi's. I had leathers the next time I rode!
I still have the same bike.

I popped my cherry on Palomar too, although about 20 years later. Photo is just before the drag.

Turn 3 at PIR. Canít remember if it was earlier this year or late last year.

Iíve been riding since 2004, took a 7 year hiatus from 2011 to 2018. I was always very conservative and my body positioning did not lend itself to putting a knee down easily.

I remember being so freaking excited I blew the entrance into T4 and almost wrecked lol!

Ha thanks,
3 years ago at 61 years young, the very same spot turn 3 maiden voyage on my ZX10, new fresh Dunlop tires, tipped it in, lost he front, slide across the track on the right side flipped when it hit the gravel. Rashed the right side, broke the rearsets, front fairing, tail, tank, and whole left side when it flipped.
That slowed me down some expensive day, new tires be slippery.
After I got it back together I never trusted those Dunlop tires, my butt puckered every time I got any good Lean angle so I got rid of them and won’t run them again even thou I know it was all my fault. Ha.
Got my knee, elbow, backside down that day.
There fixed it for the grammar police. Now I remember why I only lurk on these forums.

We watched the late Robert Dunlop and his son the late Robert Dunlop in the Liam Neeson narrated 2014 Documentary "Road" at "The Raven" pub at the Ballaugh Bridge.

You should learn to at least spell the word "Dunlop", before commenting on their tires.
Would it be asking too much to tone down the smartass comments a bit?

You really don't want to be "that guy".

No, it would not be asking too much. I toned the two comments that were over the line.
