Honestly, I actually say it out loud every time I go for a ride, even a 15 minute one. Best thing I ever bought.

I dont, i realy like my bikes but i look at them like a tool and after several months ive pretty much seen what it will do and im on to the next one that looks better or sounds awsome, is superior handling or just a deal i cant pass up, seems once i get what i want i just want something else.

I love this bike so much!! I think Monster is jealous, as it rarely gets ridden now. A slow leak in its rear tire appeared as soon as I started riding my XR all the time.

Like which one or all of them?

When I bought my Honda PC800 new in 1995 it was my first new bike ever. I was enthralled with its smoothness and comfort. Compared to my GS1000 Suzuki it was so very cultured and refined. I looked for every opportunity to ride it and ride it I did. Around town, touring, scraping pegs on The Dragon at Deal's Gap it did it all for me and never ever broke down on me. Astonishingly, never even a flat tire.

Now, 23 years and several other bikes later I still have that black and silver beauty. Closing in on 100,000 miles and it leaves a spot of oil on my driveway when I park it there. The turn signals are hit and miss. But as long as the battery has an ample charge on it I can turn the key, pull out the choke, hit the start button and ride off into the the sunset with pretty much the same shit eating grin that I had on when when I rode it home from the Honda shop the first time. Burns no oil, still gives me 60 mpg on occasion and no matter what, makes me happy every time I ride it. Who needs more than that?

My BMW R1100RT had a lot more stomp and stop and was wonderful in the canyons. Loved the electric windshield and and that almost 7 gallon gas tank.

My GS1800? Wow. GPS? Cruise control? Heated grips and seat? Toe warmers? Satellite radio? Sure hard not to enjoy all of that. And I do.

My KLR 650? Nice bike for putting around or not to serious off roading. This bike screams out for an aftermarket seat more than any other others. Slick shifting and light handling and fun for less than 100 mile rides.

The Burgman 650? Found one ridiculously cheap with just three thousand miles on it a few years back. Comfy and quiet yet tours well. Nice scoot.

But the only bike that was love affair from day one was the Pacific Coast. An old friend that had never turned his back on me. Never made me sorry I bought it and never will make me want to be rid of it. Yeah, I love that bike for sure. And it loves me. Pretty good combo, eh?

If it has an engine or tits it will eventually be trouble. My bikes, are simply commodities, or tools as other have noted, that can be bought and sold. I cannot or haven not bought and sold my wife, whom i love.

I will admit a certain fondness of certain bikes that had traits I miss in the past, and my stable still contains my '05 ZX-10 that keeps me grinning so much I do not want to part with it. I think what I "love" is the act of motorcycling, and so various machines have allowed me to do that on varying levels and ways over the decades, but to love just one or all of them even...?

I love riding motorcycles and that will not change if I am on my 1983 Honda CT-110 or the newest addition the ZG-1400. Every one of them can be gone in an instance... none will comfort me on my dying bed, I just feel love in the sense as applied to affection for humans is a bit strong.

I love my bikes. There will always be other bikes, but these are mine (for now). And yes, my Suzuki might be getting traded in for a Ducati and I’m drooling over a bloody Moto Guzzi of all things, but as long as I have the key to two wheels in my pocket, it’s mine and I love it.
