The 2013/07 600RR could indeed be worth investigating. I realize sellers don't need or want help... but my gawd. Just try a tiny bit harder with the pics and description. How about a price?

I'm wondering why there was a DMV inspection. He sourced a 2007 frame with (presumably) the appropriate title for that frame. In other words he bought a 2007 CBR600RR.

I can't think of any reason to have a state inspection unless the '07 title/frame were from out of state and Oregon does an inspection any time its an out of state vehicle. Or, possibly, the new title/frame are branded rebuilt or total loss or whatever.

Those mirrors... my eyes! My eyes!!!

When you buy a frame off ebay, it doesn't come with a title 99% of the time.

Edit: If you buy an OEM replacement, they don't either (at least that's what I was told)

Who saw this thing when it was up? Evidently it went quick. I saw it in person and, well, yah. Need more words.

Used to be a 2000-2002 Ducati 748e base model.

Would liked to have seen the write up on that. I am no Ducati fan but I feel sorry for that pile of parts.

I saw this. Someone posted it on the Facebook. Evidently it had plastics and his son was in over his head. I wanted it.

It takes a brave man to admit that. Kudos!

But yah. The bike had a certain "something". In person I can assure you... it is an 'effing mess. Being cheap as dirt didn't hurt its "attractiveness".

Hmmm. Well. Anything can be sorted. This one is right on the edge IMO. I suppose if I threw myself at it for 2 solid days I might have a decent runner. The person who bought it is a younger guy who knows basically nothing about these things. I pray for him. Lol.

Everything on it was so uniformly cruddy and backwoods it almost seemed like that was the desired effect. Or possibly it was a theft recovery. Or maybe it was still stolen when I saw it j/k.

441cc DR350 the force is strong with this one! :)

Boba Fett's DR441

1994 Suzuki DR441 SE

"You heard that right folks, this is no ordinary DR 350 SE... It's a veritable Dark Force in the universe!!! This bike was purpose built for kicking ass and taking names on the beach, in the woods or even out in the desert. Hell, I wouldn't put it past this thing to be ripping it up in SPACE!
The list of mods is ridiculous, but here's what I can remember:
- JE 440cc forged piston kit
- Hot Cams stage 2 performance drop in cam (optimizes mid range power output)
- Frame mounted oil cooler
- FMF powercore 4 slip on exhaust
- Mikuni pumper carburetor with multiple spare pilot jets for altitude adjustment
- RM 250 Front end conversion including RM 250 front wheel and brake + spare set of forks w/ Gold valves
- Britannia Composites front fairing with dual HID lights and adjustable windscreen
- Acerbis 4.25 gallon tank
- Forged aluminum hand guards with bark busters
- Kick-starter kit installed, so kick AND electric start available
- Shorai Li Fe battery
- Dash mount for Garmin Montana 650/650t installed. Does NOT include GPS unit... sorry
- Pro Moto Billet rear rack
- Tons of stock parts (passenger pegs, rear rack, fuel petcocks, oil filters, etc) included.

People, if you've been asking yourself what your life has been missing this year, it is likely the force telling you to get out, get on this bike and ride it like a galactic warrior into the wild unknown. And ladies and gentlemen believe me when I say; "The force is strong with this one"
Call or text for questions. Can deliver reasonable distances (no further than Tatooine).
Ask for Will.
Cheers, nerds."

That was pretty good while knowing what he's selling and being detailed about it. This lady wins at Craig's List.

I'm always a little wary of sellers that don't even know the model name of the thing they are trying to sell.

Apparently any Kawai with a ~1000cc engine is a "Ninja 1000"

Kawasaki ninja 1000

(in fairness, Kawai's naming scheme isn't easy to comprehend)
