$25-hunny tops you say. For a running/operating 1973 Z1 900. Hmmm. What are you basing your valuation on?

If that is the case, you should get a properly functioning magic 8-ball to replace your defective one.

Then what do you think it is worth? It is far from show room condition and just cause its running doesn't mean all that much.

For sale is my 2002 original Street Fighter. I've personally gone through this entire bike. This bike has 15,000 miles on the frame and fairings and 4,000 miles on the rebuilt 929cm3. Pro caliber just performed an inspection this last week. New front and rear tires Dunlop Q3's (with less than 50 miles on them). I'm asking $4000 because it is a sound, tight, fast and fun bike! I don't want to sell it but having a kid on the way makes it a no brainer... Title in hand! Let me know if you have any questions about the bike.

No, no, no, no, no! It is not a 'Janky chain' but a brand new 'O'-ring chain. Really. No, really. Seriously. Maybe...

Let me put it this way.

I find this particular bike as atrocious and as poorly presented as you do. If I had to ride it I would only do that if I was in disguise. Were a picture of me riding this bike make it to the interwebz I'd be scarred for life.

However. If I got a call/text right now stating I could buy it for $2500 were I to show up within 4 hours, I would be headed south in my van with my company checkbook and in PDX by 9pm tonite ready to do business.

So clearly, I feel this, ummm, bike, is worth a fair bit more than $2500. Not exactly sure how much more, but enough that I would risk public humiliation and shaming for all eternity.

2015 Kawasaki H2Rare Limited
But it's "rare" and "limited"!!!!

At least until like...a month from now when the 2016s show up.

A 2015 Kawasaki H2 is indeed rare and limited. It will still be that way when the 2016 models are here.

Agreed though that $40k for one is wishful thinking on a whole new level. You can buy a new one for msrp without trying very hard.

I can't imagine who the seller here is trying to fool. Anyone buying a $25k bike knows whats up. Perhaps its one of those ads that the spouse has been placated by since the bike is "for sale".

"Rare", "Limited" translation: Parts are difficult to come by and very expensive.

I have owned a lot of those over the years... Finally have stopped but it has been difficult. Almost pulled the trigger on a very cool 1966 Ducati Cadet 100 on EBay last week... No bidders at $800. Stop the madness!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is the time of year I get the 'itch' to buy another bike...
