As a buyer, there's nothing that gives you confidence in a dealer like seeing that body panels have been gratuitously swapped between two bikes.

The weird thing that you see and that they didn't fix just means that everything else is good and there isn't any other weirdness that you can't see, right?

Follow up on that last Craigslist ad with a couple better photos.
Bike "wrapped with wrinkle crushed velvet" - now there is something I would never have thought of.

The very fact that you'd wonder about riding it at all, well........

Well, look at the bright side, not a lot of extraneous parts to muck around with.

^ Not sure who would consider this a "cafe racer"?! First, the engine is weak and the bars are the opposite of those giving any aerodynamic advantage!

I like the fur bike, but the last time I was in FL, I saw several with long, zebra and leopard fur.

I will toss in a couple photos from this most recent Craigslist add for the "Cafe Racer" and the ad text to save for posterity (not that we really need to save this thing).

It is always interesting to see the endless debate about the ultimate comfortable seat and then see something like this show up, but I guess it is personal preference. Besides, with a fuel tank that looks to hold about a pint I guess this thing won't be touring the USA.

If you view the ad and select a photo you can click and see a larger image. I'll toss in the smaller size below. I don't see anything but a rear drum brake on this bike. I hate to see the word "racer" attached to anything having just one rear drum brake as a means to stop. The seller says it "rides great". I can't believe it stops great. Clearly this is form over function, and not much in the function department.

The Craigslist ad:

Bobber chopper rat bike custom Cafe Racer

I am just kind of testing the waters looking for possible trades built this bike quite a while back it runs and rides great could probably use a little tuning on the carbs seems to be running a little rich on the right cylinder the bike is completely custom there is absolutely nothing Factory on this bike other than the internal motor parts this bike has a Springer front end 21 inch front wheel 15 inch rear wheel white wall tires ape hangers Custom Grips every Bolt & Nut on the motor have been replaced with chrome acorns the entire motor has been polished the frame is handmade the seat is handmade the paint on the gas tank and Fender are less than a year old the rear fender is custom the bike has brass knuckle foot pegs basically the entire bike is completely custom it is a 1981 Kawasaki 440 it is electric start with a new battery last year the chain is only about a year old I do not ride very often and I am in the process of building a new bike I've only had this bike out once this year and that was just to write it from my old house to my new house I just moved into I am looking for interesting trades or cash I will not consider any cash offer it is not in the $5,000 range this bike has a ton of time into it and a lot of custom work.

This bike screams, "Lets go on one of the most uncomfortable rides you'll ever go on."

That seat looks cozy and the suspension should make going over speed bumps smoothly.
