Looks kinda like my old Honda 350SL, after I got drunk one night and decided it needed a rebuild. Never did get it back together...

Pretty sure, as others have suggested, those are the exact course of actions which lead to any project bike getting put on craigslist.

I have a 1999 Honda CBR1100XX super blackbird. It looks and rides great. It has new custom paint. No scratches, no broken plastic.
Mhmm... That 'custom' paint job looks pretty familiar.
I suppose you can say that my bike also has the same custom paint that has no broken plastic either

Umm, if it's "original" where are the fairings, and what's with the Mickey Mouse ear mirrors?

The Ninjette is mine!

A BN125 got replaced, and angel got their wings, a puppy did not have to die and the terrorist did not win!

Carbs need cleaned/synced, turn signals removed and some frame sliders added. This is a sweet ride worth the 7 hour trip!

THB, the only thing that turns me off about this is the douched up paintjob and the $4250 he wants. Not that it isn't worth the money. The paint makes me not want to spend more than $3k for it. If I was in a different life situation I might go for it. I've been wanting another Blackbird for a while now.

I do love the mud tires as well.

Douched up factory paint job at least. WTF was Honda thinking??? (Ok, maybe not factory, just popular cheap plastics, for some reason...)

Blackbird, Bluebird, Rarebird, whatever....can't say I'd pay that much for many bikes with 74,000 miles on the clock...

Cafe Racer? Really?

$10 Ebay seat covers, generic windscreen, rattle can tank paint job and a little work with a sawzall on the fairings and you make yourself a "cafe racer"?

Moving a hi miler with custom paint is like rock climbing with both arms tied behind your bike. Once upon a time I had an old 'guzzi that was some sort of electro-green with 104k miles. What a grind that was. Although it did finally bring more or less what this murdered (mudded ?) out flamed b-bird is listed for.

For about $1200 and a can or two of paint, that could be a great ride for someone.
