Lucky m'fer. That thing is pristine. Hope the high mileage doesn't equate to any issues down the road. I wanted that thing bad!

Well, Big thanks to Ducati Redmond, they just provided me with a pretty good maintenance history on the bike. Looks like it has been well taken care of it's short life.
Thanks guys..

Well you and me both but looking over the maintenance history I think it got everything it needed. I've only spent about 1 1/2 hours riding it but this thing is sweet.im happy

If you really want to know run the vin through the DMV database to get previous owner names and addresses. I'd look it up for you but I only have access to the Alaska DMV. Does anyone here have access? If not you can probably get this info from your local DMV or licensing office if you ask correctly.

In WA, that info is not a "public record". You have to work in the system to have access to it and then it is probably illegal to share that information if you do have access.

Thanks anyway I really don't want to do any stocker action just thought if the previous owner didn't mind I would like to talk to them but Redmond duc really helped me out, now I know when the valves and belts were last done recent compression test was done etc. etc. all looks really good but I would still love to talk to previous owner if possible. That's the bad thing about buying from a shop.
You can really get a sense of how something was taken care of by meeting and talking to the last owner if you look around there garage if everything is held together with duct tape and bailing wire kinda raises a red flag you know.

Most people would be surprised what is public record. However, just because they're open to the public doesn't mean they're easy to access. There are regulations on where it can be stored and how it can be distributed so you probably won't find it on their website and you may have to pay a fee. I subscribe to Ingens which is a private company that gathers all sorts of records and offers access subscriptions. Without this information it would be impossible to conduct a vehicle lein sale.

Wish I kept my S4Rs Tricolor. Was fun to mess with squids on sport bikes.

This is a good bet for you. They do a lot of Ducati events throughout the year. Ducati Redmond just did a detailing workshop Saturday.
