AFT Season Changes

I've been scratching my head on the AFT's decision that allows teams to "buy in" and be guaranteed a spot in the main event for the 2020 super twins season? I realize AFT has grown in popularity and wants to sell NBC sports subscriptions, but flat track is an American motorcycle sport that was based on the fact that a good rider on the right bike on the right day could race in the final and possibly win. And honestly now that that the field is 95% Indian, a couple Yamaha and a couple Harley's it has gotten kinda routine. The 450 singles class is certainly more exciting, competitive and has a nice mix of manufactures and teams. Daytona is less than a month away, I'm excited for another season of racing, but I hope these new rules won't totally shut out the privateer or part-time professional rider. Who doesn't get a kick out of Larry Pegram putting some ass whooping on the young guys!!!

While I'm not really into the traditional flat track racing, I really like the TT races. I may try to find the days those are on and see where I can watch them for free. Last year one could logon to and watch for free...
