Craigslist Finds - The good, the bad and the ridiculous...

These threads are always entertaining. Post up good, bad or down right ridiculous CL ads. If you decide to post, please include the text of the ad along with the link. Bonus points for linking the pics too.

I'll start with a super awesome and rare 6 ltr 4cyl GSXR.

05 grey sports motorcycle Suzuki

This 05 Suzuki GSX is a state farm insurance payoff. No damage just normal wear. Fed dents and scratches. It starts and drives fine. Engine does not smoke. Has a powerful 6 liter 4 cylinder engine. You can see more pics at our site at hlemery.com and there is a link at the top that will take you to the bikes. It is RWD and comes with IL clean title. Bike style is racer.

I was hoping it would be 2wd, or at least Fwd, because those are better in the snow.

Well YEAH,,, I mean, most of the 6 liter GSXR's WERE front wheel drive! And nearly ALL of them smoked! Camel's I believe... This one is rear wheel drive! AND does not smoke! Whoa!!!! Really rare!!!  :giggle:

Nope, nope, nope...do you guys get it?

That's a GSX! The "R" must stand for rear wheel drive! :p

Or is that "Race" type?

Or maybe, just maybe.....repo? Naaaa, couldn't be. :ninja:

When did they start making rear wheel drive bikes?

I simply can't say no to a 6 liter so I think I'll give it a try. Definitely going to take some getting used to what with all the power and funny drive set up. Not sure the racer style is for me tho.

The only question I have is why did the Feds dent and scratch it? That's just uncalled for.

Oh, around 115 years ago. All of mine have been rear wheel drive.

I rode a Rokon once that was two wheel drive. Not much use for anything other than pulling a plow as far as I was concerned.

Bike was in running order and engine is in good condition. Stripped bike down to rebuild into a cafe racer. Just spent over 600+ on a solid tail loop done over at Bridge City Cycles. Recently got a enduro and don't have the time to finish this project. Lots of parts not in stripped down photo that came directly off the bike when I first got it. Has carborators, new carborator covers, new headlight. Most parts I still have but have just been taken off. Things I know it's missing is the clutch and gas levers.
