2018 Kawasaki H2 SX Sport Tourer Debuts

To answer your question. Yes, it has a Supercharger. And yes, it has the same amount of horsepower as the road-going H2 at an even 200 and 101 lb-ft. of torque.
Somehow, I can't see this being available for demo rides.

So what is the difference between the H2 and this, slightly taller bars and less ugly muffler? pannier brackets?

I don't see how there's a market for that.

Bigger fairing, centerstand, beefier subframe, and larger tank too. Going full GT without making it a boat. Article says it's still under 500 lb.

You have a Concours 14, but can't see the market for a light, fast sport-touring bike with decent range?

You'd be surprised what the Conny can do. Its comfortable, has lots of amenities and goes plenty fast bone stock. It already will do power wheelies and with an ECU flash it to would make just as much power. I also didn't get mine to break the sound barrier. That's what my Busa is for. With an ECU flash on that it will make over 200 hp to the ground.

You could do a two week camping trip in a week on that thing.

If it's priced like the H2 ($25k), that's some expensive sport touring! I mean, I'd love to replace my VFR with this, but I think I'd just go with a 2017 Ninja 1000 at half the price and call it a day.

With emission controls always tightening, this may become the replacement for the Concourse. There's always talk about lowering displacement and adding forced induction to clean up engines.
