Driving home last night about 6:00 on road 10, guy on a bike going the other way. Both feet down and sliding on the snow. Brave or crazy, not sure which.

I believe both those states are not exclusive to each other. Nice enough now to be riding!! But I have been drinking.....sigh, and working on bikes.

Rode my C-14 into work today, at 6AM light snow flakes dancing in the headlight beam, a crisp, dry 30 degrees. Delightful. The county sheriff that followed me half way in was either transfixed, jealous, or searching for sanity reasons to pull me over.

Or did they come out with a C-15 I missed? H2 SE maybe, there's a possible reason.

While I loved riding the Concours and it took the wife and I to see and do things we would never have been able to do if we had not had it... unfortunate medical sometimes hits... and in this case a number of strokes no longer allows her to be on it and be safe. She knows and understands this and just wanted it gone so it would not keep showing itself to her and see that look of despair on her face of not being able to hold on and enjoy her love of riding. I still for now have my Supermoto's and the new 701 is Badass.... but I would give them all up for her if needed and she really needs warmer climates than Cent Wa.

I bought my C14 just after my wife "finished" breast cancer "treatment" (don't get me started), thinking we could do some day rides, maybe an overnighter once in a while. But the medicine that was supposed to cure her actually ruined her for riding. permanent joint pain all over, weak hands, tired easily, and so she can't ride with me. I ride mostly just back and forth to my favorite coffee places in tacoma now. the connie is literally an expensive cafe racer.

life is a funny business.

Sorry I been gone guys... over a week cause life spoke up again... seems the wife's uncle who recently here moved in town recently was found laying in the street at the hospital's ER entrance.....broken cheekbone and eye socket and 5 broken ribs and 5 stitches to close the gash on his eyebrow..... at 79 and an Army Vet... retired Ford UAW auto worker.... totally confused and needing help.... he just kept asking for my wife and I. He could tell them our names and that was it... no number... but since we have a great history at the hospital here and being here for 50yrs and living on the other side of the hospital from where he was found.... they called us right away and we were there in like 2 minutes if it took that long... (I actually own the one property that borders the Hospital Thank God!!) Seems he moved and lost his address book and cannot remember our phone #.... and his car was broke down so he took off on a walk about..... It's now be about a week...

I find out... never married. No kids. my wife is his last relative.... and a Recluse..... and a stubborn Proud Japanese Man..... Family comes first.... so I guess a new job is at hand and sooner than expected...... time to learn to roll with things better.... It's about to get more interesting than I could ever imagine...........
