Whoops

Had a great day yesterday in Capitol Forest and even managed to get out to my dad's house north of Aberdeen.

Today I go up to Naches Trail and this shut happens.

Totally my fault, was in a hurry and didn't tighten it up. Managed to strip 7 of the teeth of the counter sprocket. Good news is that I'm pretty sure there isn't any internal damage. Thank God we trucked the bikes up to 70 or I'd still be up there.

Unrelated note, Gas Gas parts are expensive.

Oh no! I was loving your photos until the last one. Sad day, I'm sure. I'm glad you weren't stuck up there.

I'm just glad I didn't mess up the engine. That would've sucked something fierce.

Nice...except for the chain, but at least your Gas Gas starts regularly unlike mine.

Good thing you had the case saver on there. That happened to me several years ago and broke the bottom mount for the case saver on mine. If it happens again, I'll be needing a new bike.
