Burtons in Suquamish. Give them a call. Or you can buy my Harbor Frieght changer which has been moved outdoors as I need the space in my shop for bikes and sports car now the rains have arrived

Whoever you have do it, tell them to be aware of the TPMS sensors. They will get broken if the mount/dismount is treated like a wheel without them.

As soon as I finish the bike on my lift I'm packing up my shop for an indefinite length of time. Probably at least until spring when I hope to have relocated within Kitsap county or north Mason county.

Does that mean you're staying around here after retiring?

For a while yes. I'm officially retired and am looking for my next career. Figured staying here while I acclimate would be a good idea.

Yesterday = hoverbike.

today = new shoes!

Just back in from a test ride.

Damn. These change the whole feel of the bike. Totally, massively better tires. The bike is way more responsive and it feels lighter.

Now I need those new brake pads. I found shit that looks like weld slag on the leading edge of the front pars. Heavy bike. Its eating the pads. I have never felt like I needed new brakes at 7500 miles on a bike before. But I do now. The front tire was actually worn more than the rear from taking the braking loads.

Consider using sintered metalic brake pads. That's all I've ever used on my ZX-14, and have had good performance and longevity with them.

And after 25 years of using the DIY, I switched to this method last year...takes less beer also.

those ebc pads bite noticeably harder than the oem pads, and are a good choice. nice, nice front brake now.
