Pirelli Super Biker app

Does any one use the Pirelli Super Biker app?

Thoughts? Pros? Cons?

Yes

Its not bad for a free app that works on your phone. Good for getting "rough" ideas for lap times, lines and various other info. However its not that accurate and has recorded me doing 200+mph down the front straight at the ridge...

The app itself is great, but the big problem with it is the fact it uses the gps signal from your phone and most phones gps/ping/tracking signal rate (can't think of the correct word/term) is very slow when compared to stand alone systems that are designed for this.

Definitely play with it if you are curious about stuff and want to track progress casually. If you want to get serious I'd suggest something that is a bit more professional.

Not consistent. Probably due to what bumblebee said. I've only used it at TCKC. GPS reception seems hit or miss. I've had a few good sessions with it, which can definitely help you evaluate you laps.

It's the refresh hertz. I haven't had very good luck with the app. The GPS puts me allllll over the place. Starlane seems to be a good system though
