PDX area shop to drill a few holes in baffle

Recs in PDX for a machine shop or moto or other shop that can drill a few holes in an exhaust baffle?

I donít want it out altogether, just a small increase in sound without too much air flow increase

Can't help you with the recommendations in the Portland area but it would probably be a pretty simple job. Does the baffle come out easily or is it riveted in? Take a pic...

I've got lathes, mills, drill presses etc. Bring it up to Seattle and I'll drill it up for ya.

BTW - I've been looking at that Kawi, what are your thoughts so far? Other than it being quieter than you would prefer are you happy with the Z900RS?

Your telling me you dont own a drill or bits?? How do people survive without tools? Buy a drill and bits at harbour freight and spend 5 minutes doing it yourself

Uncykle is right, drill it yourself if you feel you have to have more noise, a shop may not be able to because stock exhaust systems are emission related and the tampering fines are horrendous. Plus drilling holes in baffles may do more harm than good. Think about this, you have a bike that is 100% DOT and EPA legal, starts instantly, can run high 9s,run 170 or so flat out,can get great gas mileage and is insurable. The only thing you can do with a drill is make things worse.

Love it. I liked it a lot before flashing ecu to smooth out snatchy throttle, and now itís amazing. Great daily driver. Does very well in twisties, and throwing on soft bags and a windscreen makes it a good enough tourer for me.

The exhaust is not stock, and I want to add a small amount of noise to what I have (the ecu flash can accommodate what I have in mind).

And to the others, yes I have a drill. But I donít have a drill press, and I want precision. Since posting this, I found out a friend has one and Iíll be using that to do it myself.
