Question Locking a Baxley LA wheel chock?

I have the Baxley LA wheel chock (not the Sport chock!) which I really like, but I also want to lock it like the Sport chock. Has anyone modified their's to lock somehow?

does it really need one? The plates on the bottom of the LA chock squeezes together providing a locking mechanism. When I'm tired I have a hard time getting my bike out of it.

you could use the holes on the sides to lock it up with a strap?
