  Multi 1000
The Ducati Valve Lament

My 2v Multi is crossing the 50k mark and it's time again for the dreaded valve adjustment.

I've done it a couple times before but it is always a chore. The pic is from the last time I did it. Mike up in Seattle helped a ton and talked me through a couple questions I had.

Anybody want to stop by when it's ready help with the final checks or we can join forces and do your bike too. Located in SE PDX. The job will start in the next couple weeks. No rush due to snowboard season being going finally.

Stupid picture keeps on flipping.

It'd be a little easier if you left the bike on it's wheels...

I think it's easy peazy compared to what many folks say. Not as easy as screw/locknut but not difficult like the myths make it sound, and definitely not worth the small fortune it would cost me at Motocorsa when I can do it myself! Contact me if you're looking for a shim or two, depending on what you need. I just checked my valves 6 months ago.

I heard it is pretty easy, but never done it.

It's a lot easier if the bike isn't inverted.
