Adding components to 2019 Yamaha Tracer gt

I have an idea of adding a dual tone horn and a single row led light bar ( 7"? ) to my bike, when I use the horn I want the light bar to come on and I would also like the ability to activate the light bar with the high beam switch so, dual function
Anyway the bike is the newest version of an fj09. Anyone have any ideas/thoughts on the electrical system?
I could run an accessory power block and tap the appropriate leads for triggers through a relay
What are your thoughts?

Power block, with dedicated fuse and activated by a relay; hard to go wrong with that. Just make sure that your stock charging system can provide enough current, or wattage, to keep up with the additional load. Installing a small ground bus may also be a good idea. No sense disturbing the stock wire harness anymore than absolutely necessary.

I DEFINITELY do not want to hack/splice
Should be zero need
I'm hoping someone has resources available for the factory power modules on the bike already
If i can tap those instead of piggybacking on the wires themselves I'd much rather go that route
I'm gonna buy myself a xmas gift (factory service manual) but wanted to start thinking about the project now and finding what goodies people have experience with
I've seen some new pdm's (power distribution module) but wanted to discuss/research options����

Shouldn't be too hard to do anything you're suggesting.

Simply add a jumper wire from your horn's positive & negative wire to go to the light bar...when you press the horn, power will go to the light as well. For high-beam...another jumper off the high beam power wire...out of the headlight bucket and down to the Light bar. No need for another ground as the light bar would be grounded via the horn. Switch on the high beam, and the light bar should come on.

Regarding load on either of those circuits... I doubt the light bar will draw significant power, but might be worth checking.

You'll also want to add diodes to the power wires leading to the light bar or else the horn will sound with the high beam and visa/versa.

I'm goingto dig a lil more into the power distribution module thingamajig
I saw one with a built in relay and it is programmable for output 5a 10a 15a and so on
Guess I was just hoping for some real time user feedback before popping about 200 bones on one��

You can get a switched power relay for $9.
A fuse box will cost about the same if you can't find one in the corner.

$200? Somebody's got more cabbage than sense.

Power Relay and Distribution Block

The distribution block can be exchanged for a fuse holder if you want them all in one place.
Most accessories will have their own inline fuse unless they are very cheap indeed.

Programmable amperage sounds more like plugging the correct fuse into the circuit it's expected to protect.

That's why I'm trying to research ALL my options BEFORE just throwing my money at a product 😂
