I found a few lights in olympia. if i grab my front brakes to the point of dipping the forks waaaay down when im almost stopped anyway then they will trigger. i make sure to do it right when my wheels are on the circle lines.

I will add the light at the Hood Canal bridge - I HATE coming up the light from Port Gamble - trying to just head toward Poulsbo and being 1st in line!!
Also, the light onto Big Valley is wonky as well!!

Blowing them is one way, or you can take all (free) right turns then turn around. I have used the 'slam on the front brake' method on a couple lights around my house. Not in the rain though! It does work...
Waving to people behind you to get them to move up freaks them out. I have only had a few that 'got it' and moved onto the sensor area.
You are 'supposed' to be able to call your county traffic division and report the light not tripping and they will fix it.
I have tried metal on my 'little' bikes but have not found it made much of a difference.
Thats all fine and good, but the topic is...

Improvements to a motorcycle that actually help switch traffic signals to green...

Hopefully a moderator will step in to censor the riff raff.. This is the Kitsap County Forum.. not E WA..

<BaldGuy and ZX both live in Eastern Wa and have no idea what we deal with on the wetside... >

Do you guys even know where Kitsap County is?? Hint.. It's not next door to Kittitas County...
You really don't want a moderator to step in and apply any censorship or admonishments for less than stellar behavior.

Topic Schmopic. This is a motorcycle forum, not something life or death like Pintrest.

If we censored the "Riff Raff" like you ask, we would have exactly 4 posts on this entire forum. Texasl would not even be allowed to sign in!

Believe it or not, we have traffic lights in Eastern WA. Some of them don't detect motorcycles! Our solution is we yell "Hey Cletus! Change the damned light!" at the guy who changes the lens on the kerosene lantern from red to green. Once awoken from his drunken stupor, he usually does his job.

Rumor is we are going to get indoor plumbing and electric lights!

I put Kitsap on my French Fries...it is no name for a county!
Riff Raff is my middle name.

Traffic-lighten the Eff up too... Just trying to help. I lived over 'there' for years and have a notion of what traffic and rain are.

A couple I have trouble with are Hwy 308 and Viking Way. Believe it or not, but I've had to sit through a couple of cycles at Hwy 303, turning left to get on Hwy 3 to head South. I had to wait for a vehicle to trigger it. That one would be hard to just go through when it's red, the way that intersection is set up.

The left turn lane at Keyport Junction (towards Poulsbo) has been known to be problematic.

If you can see the sensor, stop over it and bump your starter button
