I went out yesterday, nice and relaxing. But a bit to chilly. Still fun though, we should get a early season ride together.

Clutch: lever adjusted just fine.
It is a "known" problem.
Springs are too light and a bit short.
Replacement springs, EBC or Barnett, are slightly longer and heavier.
Weird problem because the bike is relatively low-power.
The bike was up to temp when it happened, coming back to PO from GH.
I am going to install a new clutch and springs.
It's only like a $200.00 job.
I don't really want to do it because i really want to sell the bike, even though i really like it, and buy the 2007 Tuono that is on CL right now.
I missed the Tuono from last week. It went fast.
Anyone want an excellent 650R with a brand new clutch?
New PR4's. Yosh. Steel lines and EBC pads. Flashers on front and rear. Tall smoked Puig. LSL handlebars.
Just saying.....

It is a fun place to visit for sure. For about 14 days.

The big island has some fun roads, a couple would wear you out if ridden at a brisk pace.

Kilua Kona has a lot of homeless, but they were, for the most part not aggressive and we never had any panhandle. Hilo, on the other hand was not fun at all. Even on the main tourist area, they were very aggressive and pissed if you did not hand over the money. We walked a block off the main drag and I was very nervous. Big differences in climate and attitudes within a very short distance.

Living there would drive me nuts.

Felt really good to get out.
Saw only one other rider - guy on a bright green 636 heading west on 302 at Creviston (just west of the Wanna Bridge and Purdy Spit.
Near Seabeck Pizza I saw a dude standing by the road holding a bigass sign that said "MARIJUANA" and I thought how much the world has changed since when I was young. If you would have told my 19 year old self back in 1980 that I would have seen that I would have laughed at you.
Strange world.

Took a short ride too, out to Brownsville and back. Saw four other riders. I think everyone was trying to squeeze a ride in before the rain comes back.

Next week is supposed to be pretty nice!

Using a C90 as a long distance touring machine has got to be the "dumbest idea ever".
But Ed pulls it off and makes some entertaining videos..

With this shitty weather, I've been watching a lot of Youtube..

Here's a couple other youtube recommendations..

Motoventuring
Alex Chacon
Halfthrottle

travel but not moto..
SV delos <sailing the world>
kombi life <Chile to Alaska in a VW bus>

plz post if you have any favs to share.

I may have been tugging gently on the clutch lever as the massive g-forces of ninja 650 acceleration pulled me back on the seat. It seems to be ok now. Dunno. In PT right now. Feels colder out than the thermometer says. No one else out riding.

Stayed warm loading this up, bringing it home and unloading it today. 3300 miles on odo.
No, I don't need it.
Yes, there are two other moto projects ahead of it.
It would seem I have little self control in these motorcycle matters.
