@bcj I took the idea from your OP and started to take aspirin in hopes to reduce swelling. Voila - I donít know if itís the blood thinning properties of aspirin or coincidence but the swelling has gone down considerably and Iím at least able to hobble around. Should be able to slip into by boot soon, at this rate.
Thank is for the tip!

If it works, good on ya.

Not a doctor and didn't stay at Holiday last week.
I'd been on high ibuprofen for two weeks that didn't work.
No real swelling of note. Just hurty.

Extra Strength Excedrin has been helpful in keeping the swelling down enough that I was able to ride into work to today. Felt good to be back on the saddle after a week of pain and wasted sunny days.

Watched the last of the TdF Sunday morning. Mad weather for a send off.
Feeling much better and the leg muscles are not so mis-matched anymore.

Took the K12 out for the first time in a year and a half to do a slow TdBI via the Chilly Hilly route.
Got a 1/2 tank of new gas to dilute the old stuff. Didn't blow up, leak or turn green around the edges.
Now I need to pull the fairings to clean up and dust around everything else.

Had the SV out and around last month which wasn't too bad. Didn't trust the knee with the dream barge yet.
May make it to first Sunday if anyone is still around.

Thanks again to DocB for the crutches. Most handy and available if anyone else needs them.
