Bremerton to wildcat lake trailhead-over the Mt. to gold creek trailhead-out to Tahuya and ride the river trail plus a few more- back over green Mt. to Bremerton and home.

Will be a good time :D:D

I am flexible. I'm thinking around x mas on a weekend or a Friday

I'd be up for something not as strenuous. I think I need to let my wrist heal a little more.

Yeah. That's a bit heavy. Plus, I was thinking singletrack up the Mt.

Will you be riding the africa twin.

Mudslinger Dec 12th 2017 06:53 AM

I'm unfamiliar with the route. Do you think it's do-able on a big bike?

Neverseenrain Dec 12th 2017 06:10 PM

No problem! Green Mountain has single track and gravel roads. Then there is some pavement between Gold creek trailhead and Tahuya. Tahuya is a mix between 4x4, dual track and single track.

I don't know if the gravel roads are open this time of year. Now that I know that there are other guys who are interested, I can pick a route that fits the Adventure bike style!

I ride a Husquvarna 501 FE. Its more on the aggressive dirt side of things. Did not get past 3rd gear going up the mountain. Not the best pavement bike. I rode it to shelton on the highway once and, well, lots of visor vibration and a sore butt.

I think we can find a route that works for all y'all though. I like the Africa Twin!

I should be down for this ride depending upon the date.

I'd be willing to wait!

Nice, I'll have to check them out. I'm not to happy with the grip of the stock tires on my 501.

Well, did this ride happen yet? Pics?

Not yet, I believe.

I got my front Shinko tire, still waiting for the rear. Then I'll be up for some real dirt riding.......:spin:
