Good grief!

Just read in The Dalles Chronicle that we shattered the record for most days with snow on the ground, 38 days straight...and counting.

The closest I've come to my bike is shoveling snow...off the garage roof. Can't even farkle properly; UPS reports "weather related delays".

OK Dalles Riders, time to brew a hot chocolate, grab a map, and start planning Summer '17 eastern Oregon rides. Suggestions welcome.

I don't know if we have set any records in the Tri-Cities, but I do know I have my belly full of snow and cold. I took my Ural out for a spin (literally!) on New Years day.

I am good now until it warms up a bit. Freezing your ass off will do that for you!

The record over here is like 120 days.

Sorry Quixote, too busy excavating the track van from the snow drifts. Winter continues to grip our roads, bikes are a distant memory

I have to say as much as I like playing in the snow, the inability to even get my bike started has been driving me crazy. Next - floods and hydroplaning ...
