They've been making basically the same bike since what, the late 80s? Apparently, people are still buying them. Resale prices on Craigslist are pretty good too.

They likely are for off-road, but I wanted a balance between both street and trail... plus, most of the 225's and up challenge my vertically limited inseam.

Just wanted a fun kick around option that can go off-road too. Been browsing stuff for the past 3 years and a friend put his up for sale... so I snatched it up. It was either going to be something like this, or wait a few more years for the prices to come down some more on the scramblers... or a few more years for some more options on street trackers to come out. This will do till I can get myself to justify springing for the others.

I have a 2000. Jetted the carb and have swapped the sprockets from stock to 70 tooth... I have a 59 tooth waiting to go on now. Fun bikes. They are a bit heavy though.
