2014 Kawasaki Ninja 1000

Selling my daily driver. As of 3/7/16 has ~11,500 Miles.

It's completely stock. Factory single-key hard bags included (key for bags is same as ignition).

Bike was purchased from Beaverton Bob's as a demo model in Aug '15 (~3500 miles at the time). Comes with transferable 2 year extended warranty.

I have changed the oil and filter every 2k miles - Castrol semi-synth.
Tires are PR4. Rear is less than 1k miles old, front is about 50% (~8k miles of life left).

Has not been down, but has standard wear that you would expect a ~12k mile bike to have.

If you're in the Beaverton area on Tuesdays swing by TNC - it'll most likely be there. If you're in the area Thursdays, swing by Lupe's - it'll most likely be there. Hit me up ahead of time if you're really want to look at it at either place - I do travel for work (Cali) in the middle of the week often, so I'm no there 100% of the time.

Not really looking to trade right now.

What kind of gas mileage are you getting?

The second pic (that you can now see) was on a trip out to Maupin/Fossil. It made it 250 miles on a tank. That puts it at 55MPG for that trip. I honestly don't get that mileage on shorter trips. It usually hovers about 42MPG or so commuting. A bit less (~32-35) when my right hand gets heavy.

I made a test ride on a 2008 when I was looking for a bike and ended up with FJR. Surprisingly ergonomic (still a bit too aggressive for me). Fantastic engine! GLWS!

If it was 2008, it was likely a Z1000, or a ZX-10. Neither are the same bike as the N1K (but the Z1K is pretty close).

The N1K has only been out since 2011.

The 2014 Ninja 1000 was a new generation of the bike. A bunch of refinements from the 11-13 generation and previous.
Is this the ABS version or not?

Just checked again, it was 2011. It still sits in Triumph of Seattle.

This 2014 here seems like a sweet deal!

It is. 2014 was the first year that the N1K had ABS on every bike (no non-ABS model available)
It also has the 3 mode KTRC (4 if you include OFF).
Remote rear pre-load adjuster, etc

AFAIK, it's still pretty much considered "current gen". I'm not sure what this bike has that the 2016 does not.

Weather's nice and so is this bike.

Brand new front tire and brakes only 200 miles old as of today.

Current mileage: ~12,200
