Saturday I thought I'd pop up to H-Mart in Lynnwood (from Woodinville) (needed chili paste baaaad). There was a black cloud to the North, but it looked far away and what's a little rain? Well just past Bothell the hail/snow started. It got worse and worse and started to stick. It got so bad I had to ride in the wheel tracks of the car in front of me. No where to pull off, as I was heading into the 405/5 interchange. Thankfully, it stopped on the bridge over 5 and I was able to continue to Alderwood Mall in the rain.

Storms usually move kind of North in Seattle, right? Not this one. Lynnwood was just on the edge of the blackness, so I headed South toward Seattle instead of back down 405, but the hail/snow picked up again, and worse! I finally had to pull over veeeeerrrrryyyyy carefully and park for 15 minutes until it turned to rain and started to melt on the streets. I've never ridden in the snow like that before. Real education.

I'm still working swingshift, so my riding times are just the weekends and mondays. That said, I took the KLR out for a quick putt despite the messed up carburetor. Anyone ready for dirt season? I got a new enduro bike that I need to break in
