Riding weather?

Hey Bellinghamsters,
Any of you peeps riding? I ran a tank through yesterday avoiding flooded roads! I was a wee bit cold after 3 hours, but it was still fun to get the front wheel in the air again. Also got in a short run to town with one of my fello Deming riders today to town after fixing his bike... Had to return some rental tools).
I'm itching for real warm weather to ride in!

Oh, Baja...

Every chance I get. Road today and my bike told me it was 45F. Felt colder though, really clammy.

You guys in Oregon don't count!
I think the locals are probably surrounded by moats after all the flooding this weekend. Oh, well. I woke up to snow today so it's back to much colder temps...

Oops Guess I was eager to answer the question. I've been thinking of getting an aerostich to ride year-round.

Saw a couple Harleys out with the sun the last couple days. Also a couple naked exotics, Ducs I think, maybe one was a KTM, maybe that was you, Thumper. But too cold for my bones. Fair weather rider here.

Think I've been out only twice in 2020. Just the usual 65 mile loop, all twisty, except for 4 miles of interstate.

Rarely stop on rides, so took a lame photo at the gas station a mile from home.
Always good to get the "lead" out. Low 40's, high 30's, roads semi damp, with an occasional dry section.

Had a moment where a mini van turned onto a side dirt road on the outside of a left hand corner. Always worried about that corner and this situation happened. Fortunately, the driver committed to turning and got off the road,
otherwise he'd have a big dent on his slider door.

I saw a couple Harleys Sunday in Acme while on the SDR. There were a handful of bikes out. I'm sure nobody was thinking it was warm...

when it stops raining/snowing and temps stay in at least the upper 50's(prefer 60'-70 deg!)...then its time to ride!....

Son of Frog is back on the taps at the North Fork...
It might crawl up into the 50s still with clear skies tomorrow/Friday.

Been riding all month, when its not actually raining (Kitsap).

Having a bike that is designed to get dirty helps.

Rode yesterday.

Lots of slippy parts on the road though, and damn that salt crap - they keep at that shit!

Fuck those salt guys.

Dang.

If nobody else does, I'll throw a ride up soon as i have a free day that's dry and slightly warm. I'm feeling like Mike though, with work being so busy this month...
