Ferndale rider crashed

Whether or not alcohol was actually involved it's always a sad day when a rider gets hurt.

Well sounds like Todd chose to drink and ride and paid the price.
I hope he is ok but he made a bad choice and now has to pay for the stupidity.

Wow Arnbo, that is kind of harsh. For all we know he may have just had one beer with dinner, and I am sure we have all been guilty of exceeding the posted speed limit once or twice. Let's find out more before we decide how stupid someone is.

A helmet does no good when it isn't on your head in a wreck... Sad.

Not being a prude here but ANY is too many...
When it becomes acceptable and the 'norm' to have ANYTHING before riding bad things can and usually do happen.
Bad if you are going to drive a car, worse if you are on a motorcycle.
If you are going to drink stay home, UBER, get a cab or have a "0" designated driver.

Bad choice to drink & ride but I hope he makes a swift & full recovery, prayers for Todd & family.

On a second note this brings up an old favorite argument I have with Harley riders that slam me for wearing full gear when it's 90 deg out saying they don't need to wear all that shit cause they don't ride like that. This being said, they think it's Ok to bar hop riding & drinking all day & night. Ever see what they look like when shit goes bad?

Don't Drink & Ride!!!!!

Maybe people need to be slammed for drinking and riding or unsafe riding behavior. When we try to start coming up with excuses for people just because we are fellow motorcyclists, we are just justifying that type of behavior. I remember last summer when that rider got killed on chuckanut drive, everyone on the forums was blaming the cars. I had almost seriously considered getting rid of my sportbike because everyone was trying to justify why it was ok to ride a hundred miles an hour in a 25 zone, and I don't even want to be associated that that type of riding behavior..

Went and saw Todd he has been upgraded from Critical to Serious Condition.
It is still questionable if he will be a ble to walk again. He is making good progress
And now it is just going to take time.
