So I just purchased this:

Amazon.com: Buying Choices: Destination Highways British Columbia: A Motorcycle Enthusiast's Guide to the Best 185 Roads in Southern Bc

it's not the current edition, but i imagine the vast majority of it is still up to date. for under $8, when the current edition is $60, i'd say it's worth it. If you've never checked out Destination Highways, look 'em up. they're good stuff.

anywho, when it arrives I'll take a look and see if it can shed any light onto the task at hand.

So, after glancing through the book, I decided that this most definetly needs to be a 4-day trip. That'll leave me 2 days to run around in Canada.

Tenatively:

Day 1:

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Pasc...e72c93!1m0!3e0

Day 2:

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/49.1...a=!4m2!4m1!3e0

Day 3:

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/Will...m0!1m0!1m0!3e0

Day 4:

https://www.google.com/maps/dir/48.8...46.2395793!3e0

I know there's a lot of traffic on some of these roads, but I tried to pick scenic routes that would lead to light traffic twisty bits.

Thoughts?

highway 20

IMO, highway 20 is best headed east. It goes from super tight and twisty to wide open and flowing sweepers headed east. Also, elevation is almost all uphill headed east. Exactly opposite headed west; downhill tight twisties is much easier to over cook it.

I've only ever ran it once and that was heading west. It'll be interesting to see the differences heading east!

  In the past.

My wife and I did this little loop a while ago. Sorry it is on the other site.

Omak to Kelowna Loop - Picture Heavy | PNW Riders

We enjoyed it and I tried to minimize the time spent on 97.
