Yeah, this morning was the first so far where I actually said "it would not be safe to motorcycle into work today". Frost/ice on even main arterials.

I have an SUV with winter tires I can take which is fine, but at about 1/4 the MPG of my FZ-07...

Ditto in my area. I drove into work (office in Swellvue) and it was icy. It looks like it's going to melt and freeze again...? Drivers in my area don't seem to be used to the ice and are slamming on their brakes at the sight of shiny pavement. I hope you all stay safe.

I'm lucky that the CR500 is waiting on parts, I keep eyeballing the snowdrifts and thinking "I can make it. . . "

I'm pretty certain that my brain is trying to kill me.

Snow is melting on the roads except in the shadows of trees and parked cars. Really dangerous patches of black ice on the hills, even my Jeep in 4WD wagged her tail a few times. I would really not like to be on two wheels right now...

Several planets in the system are showing definite changes to features that have been around for as long as we have been looking (in the modern era, not talking about Sumer or Atlantis or anything).

The weather is getting weird, but not only here.

And I've been pondering the winter hobby problem. I ride a mountain bike but not in winter. i was thinking of kayaking, but that seems like it would suck in the cold and wind of winter.

What do people do besides share wisdom on the internet and consume lots of wine or weed or whatever?

Saw someone on a blue sport tourer on Hwy 3 by North Mason High this morning headed north. Brave soul with 31 degrees.

And snowing hard here now. Ugh.
