I think I'm just part of a local Tri-Cities one. I might also still be a member of the PNWRiders group though. There are major problems with the Facebook groups though... First, there are a million of them. Even for the Tri-Cities there are 4 or 5 whereas previously the Tri-Cities dedicated forum section on forums was dead. Most of the posts in those groups are shitposts and there's no way to filter them like on a managed forum like this so everyone just unsubscribes from them and the only participation is from the core members who enjoy each others shitposts. /rant

I hate FB. I disabled my account over 2 years ago and don't regret it. I will check in on this forum as long as it's around, but it certainly doesn't have the activity like the old one.

I like the idea of a phone-based app just because it's so much easier. If all you want to do is find people to ride with it's a no-brainer.
Though more and more I prefer to ride with small groups to avoid the nonsense that happens in larger groups.

I was using the Tonit app. It's well made and seems to solve a lot of the problems with the Facebook groups. But there wasn't much action in the local groups I joined / the groups I found were D-baggy stunt riders.
It might make sense to create a group on Tonit for PNWMoto.com members and make a big push on PNWMoto.com forum for people to join the Tonit group. It'd be a shame to see a legacy group like this just fizzle away.

I have been riding my TMAX scooter nearly every day. GREAT rain protection. Not as good as this gal though...

I met so many awesome people on PNW Riders. Some I'm still in contact with years later.
Tonit could be the way to go if people were to get on board.
I only ran into the stunting nonsense on one ride, and we bailed early to get away from it.
For the record I have no problem with stunting off street. But it poses a big risk to other riders in a group setting.

PNWRiders in its heyday was great. I used it to meet riders when living on the west side, east side, and central WA. I've definitely got some old friends from way back then, not many ride anymore though.

Not much riding this time of year, unless the snow blower counts ... Fishing, bike projects in the garage and planning trips for next spring is the seasonal norm for sanity. Not much interest in Facebook or similar app groups, I guess I just don't have the patience anymore. I kinda enjoy being a marketing managers nightmare.

Can't wait for when we can get back to a decent meal and sitting at the pub for a cold beer!

How soon can I leave for southwestern Utah? mid-April? more planning.

I went riding today.
Found out how easily my motor can spin the rear tire when its 42 degrees out.
Squirrely kinda fun.
Weird light though, all low and in your face and hi contrast.
