Jelly you live so close. I am about 10 minutes away from both Waddell and Rock Candy.
Well I have about 18,000 more case of frozen cod I have to catch before I head home, hopefully in about 15 days, then it'll take me another 8 days to bring the boat to Seattle. Hoping to just go pick up a bike shortly after I get home, thinking if the deal is right I'll just have to go over to eastern Wa to pick it up. I want to get some riding in to get used to the bike before I go on that BCR with my SIL and his buddies in August. I also need to get some miles on my new z1000 this summer.

Well I have a pending deal on a 2017 Ktm 690 enduro. Unless something changes my mind I'll finalize the deal on Monday.

If you get the 690, look into the vibration issues. Thicker gloves, thicker grips (progrip gel grips are cheap and effective), bar end weights and there are also bars made specifically to reduce vibrations.
After a long day, those vibes will get to you... (hands mostly, but feet and seat as well..)

Is that on the 2017. I thought I read where they fixed that on the newer 690's thought that was on the older ones!

Unfortunately, I think only the 690 Duke and the Husky 701s got the new motor? But my buddy has a '14? 690 and it doesn't seem that bad to me. Post up if you and Ryan go exploring Capital Forest, I wouldn't mind tagging along.
